What is the Moselle myth?
Mythos Mosel is a parallel vintage tasting of around 120 wineries, which takes place at 30 host wineries. These have each invited three host wineries from other parts of the Moselle, so that four wineries (corresponding to approx. 24 wines) can be tasted at each station.
When does Mythos Mosel take place?
Always on the weekend after Whitsun.
Where exactly does Mythos Mosel take place?
There are three approx. 20km long sections of the Moselle, which alternate in rotation:
1st Ürzig to Briedel (2019)
2. Detzem to Piesport (2020)
3. Kesten to Zeltingen (2021)
Who can take part in Mythos Mosel?
Everyone. The tasting is of interest to private wine lovers, journalists and specialist wine merchants alike.
